About us

The history of Heirs of Abundance Ministry is kept to motivate our present and future congregation. God has been our shield; our glory and the one who has lifted our heads up. In 24th January 2001, Heirs of Abundance Ministry was established as intercessory ministry under the leadership of Pastor Joyce Owusu-Ansah. There were five of us who met at Mr & Mrs Azebiah’s house, 111 Leyton Green Road E10 6BF. Though there were few of us but God through the light of  His word guarded and provided love for inspirational fellowship. The membership increased with lots of answered prayers. Realising the need for a bigger place we moved to The Rock House Baptist Church Walthamstow in 2003. We finally moved to St Luke’s Church Hackney in 2007 until today.  As Church plant is one of our goals, we carefully prayed and I enrolled in ForMission College to study Theology and Mission. Series of meetings were held by the church plant team and finally Heirs of Abundance Community Church was launched in September 2016 in St Katharine with St Bartholomew. I also graduated in October 2016 by the grace of God. Though the church is very young, we desired to initiate a host of missional activities designed to enhance and promote educational and spiritual growth of our community and church. Our goal for 2018 is to launch parent and toddler group to engage parents to get to themselves.

To God be all the glory.
